Divorce Mediator Lori A. Grover named Chairperson of the RI chapter of the National Parents Organization
We are proud to announce that RI Divorce Mediation Center President Lori A. Grover has been named Chairperson of the Rhode Island chapter of the National Parents Organization, a charitable and educational,501 (c)(3), organization, focused on promoting shared parenting, where both parents have equal standing raising children after a separation or divorce. The National Parents Organization recognizes that preserving a strong bond between children and their parents is critically important to children’s emotional, mental, and physical health.
Gender equality and a strong presumption of shared parenting embraces every issue separating children from loving fathers and mothers, grandparents, and other relatives: alimony, child custody, child support, disabled parents, domestic violence, military child custody, move aways, parental alienation, and paternity fraud.
To learn more about the National Parents Organization and its activities, nationally and locally or to get involved, visit their website: https://nationalparentsorganization.org/ or contact Lori A. Grover, here at the RI Divorce Mediation Center.

DIVORCE MEDIATION CENTER FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT LORI GROVER CERTIFIED AS A CO-PARENTING SPECIALIST.
Co-parenting challenges after a divorce or separation can be disruptive to daily life. Differences in parenting styles, cultural or religious beliefs and lingering past conflict can shift parents away from focusing on what’s best for their children. Even mild parental conflict can create conditions that negatively impact children at any age.
As a co-parenting specialist, Lori helps parents develop effective strategies focused on their children’s well being, assists in resolving conflict, creates consistency between homes and helps parents foster healthy family relationships. With the proper neutral support, parents can work together more cooperatively, refocus on their children’s needs and minimize stress on everyone involved.
